Lesson Plans
Below are two examples of how I’ve structured my lesson plans Initially, I used a Word document, but on my second placement, I started to work with PowerPoint to incorporate the PowerPoint that I would use during class, alongside the lessonplan.
I found that this was the most effective way to build resources for my class, allowing me to organize the visuals with the structure of lesson. In every Lesson plan, I would outline exactly what students are doing with the resources that were needed. including storing and organizing the differentiation support that was taking place for each student. Reflections from the previous class would also be placed within this Lesson plan, such as the effectiveness of the lesson, and classroom management.
The Powerpoint allows for the class to be adapted and changed for future use as well as the ease of being shared as a classroom resource
